Saffron Table

The owners of Saffron Table wanted a brand that conveyed their approach to asian fusion. Comfortable and casual enough for a spontaneous weeknight and upscale enough for a special occasion. I incorporated custom type with a simple shape that could be used as a motif throughout the design of the physical space. For the website, which launched last week, I used a gold foil with craft paper backgrounds to hit that sweet spot between formal and casual, with just the right amount of Indian gaudiness. I also designed the signage and continue to provide promotional materials.
